Traditional fisherman's cottage to let on Cape Clear Island, Baltimore, Co. Cork. Cape Clear Island is situated 9 miles off the southwest coast of Ireland with ferries from Baltimore and Schull. Ferry journey takes approximately 45 minutes.
The Island is the most southwesterly offshore island and is famous for its peace and tranquility. Amenities include swimming, walking, birdwatching, fishing etc. There are three pubs, two restaurants, craft shop, museum, youth hostel and a grocery/sweet shop and two Irish Language Colleges. The Island is designated as a Gaeltacht Island (Irish speaking).
The cottage is a traditional fisherman's cottage. Accommodation includes two small bedrooms (with double beds), shower room/toilet, and kitchen/living room. It is within five minutes walk of the harbour area and close to pubs, shop and ferry berth.
